ash, weathered, circa 1870, limited circa 1846.
Reclaimed from century + old buildings.
Reinforcing
We understand that, in some instances, the arms of Adirondack chairs may be
used as a "convenient" seat. For added strength on commercial products, arms are reinforced
with vertical bracing at the back
portion of the arm and flat, horizontal bracing at the underside of
the arm. (see upper
side of photo below and lower side of following photo)


Seat center brace
applied (midspan) for additional strength for commercial line.

Exterior grade screws, coated steel square head machine bolts.
